It's all about sugar kisses

I want to talk about my weekend a little bit. I did go to my grandma's on Saturday. The day was all about food! It started with me going to Dunkin Donuts for my grandma (she loves their galzed cruellers). The I stopped at Krispy Kremes for me!! I proceeded to eat three hot glazed donuts. I don't even remember chewing (they simply melt in your mouth!) Then I proceeded on to my grandma's house. We ate donuts together (I had two more KK's!) We talked for an hour or so and then we went out to LUNCH at Anna's Kitchen. I had an awesome Rueben Sandwich, while she had a English muffin and coffee. Then on to Meijer's to see what else we could nibble(her word) on when we got home. From Meijer we went to another really great Grocery Store with the best bakery and deli dept. Did I mention they also have a Cafe'? She wanted to sit and have a cup of soup. While we were sitting there we started a conversation with an elderly lady and her daughter. The girl that runs the Cafe' came by and asked us if wee wanted a specialty baked good (she gave my grandma an eclair and I got a cinnamon bun) she was going to just throw them out~it was 4:00 pm.(she said they had to be thrown out because they had set out since that morning). By this time I'm still buzzing around from the sugar of the KK's. I forgot to mention she bought three 24oz. containers of various choc. covered things!!! We then proceeded to the back of the store to the bakery. Between the two of us we bought five packages of various specialty cookies and took a long hard look at the delicious cheesecakes and tortes! I know what you're thinking but we we're not done yet!!! We then proceeded on to Boston Market where we bought chicken and five sides (stuffing, garlic potatoe wedges, augratin redskins, green been casserole, and macaroni and cheese) and corn breads!
We then went home to wait about one hour before we had dinner from our Boston Market haul!!! By the time I left at 8pm to pick up Tom I had four bags of groceries and leftovers from our day of FOOD!
The smile on my grandma's face was the greatest~she just enjoyed spending the day with her oldest granddaughter! It was all about the Kisses and Hugs it was hard saying goodbye knowing I was leaving her with a sugar buzz and or bellyache. LOL
